The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast cold to very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda, Al-Dhalea Heights, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, West Al-Jawf and South Ma’rib). It is not unlikely that frost will form in parts of these areas as minimum temperatures are generally below normal.

Cold weather is also expected in the highlands of the governorates of (Hadhramaout, Shabwa, Taiz, Raymah, Al Mahwit and Hajjah).

The center warned citizens of the above-mentioned highlands of the cold and extremely cold weather, especially the elderly, children, sick people and workers during the night and early morning.

He also advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect their crops and crops from damage.

He warned those traveling to cold areas of the need to take necessary precautions to avoid thermal shock.
